High speed LTC time code Reader with high resolution character inserter, LED display and parallel binary coded decimal time or user data output.

FEATURES
DESCRIPTION
The T6010 is designed to read the standard SMPTE and EBU time and control codes and display this information on a large LED display. The T6010 will also key this information (either as charactures with outlines or as plain characters inside a rectangle) into an externally supplied video signal.
Front panel indicators show the standard in which the time code was recorded (drop frame, 30 or 25 frames/sec.), the presence of color framing flag, direction of tape motion, error condition, hold/run status and whether the LED display contains time or user information.

A typical application for the T6010 would be to dub program material with time code user data inserted into the video. This becomes a working copy used to select the log scene start and stop times. As well, the master recording may be viewed on a monitor with time or user data inserted by the T6010. Front panel and remote "HOLD" controls are provided.

Model T6010 accepts time code input signals over a very wide range of levels and speeds. It provides a parallel TTL level time or user data output for use of edit and machine controllers, remote digital displays, computer interface etc.
